ShortFlix User Agreement Updated: February 20, 2025 Effective Date: February 20, 2025 Welcome to ShortFlix (hereinafter referred to as "this application"). This User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "this agreement") applies to your access to and use of this application and all services provided therein. Please carefully read and agree to the entire content of this agreement before using this application. If you do not agree to any terms of this agreement, please stop using this application immediately. When you click "Agree" or continue to use this application, it means that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this agreement. 1. Scope of Application 1.1 This agreement applies to all services provided by ShortFlix, including but not limited to video content browsing, short video watching, social interaction, advertising services, etc. 1.2 This agreement applies to all users, including unregistered users, registered users, and paid users. 1.3 If you are a minor under the age of 18, you should use this application with the consent of your guardian. 2. Account Registration and Use 2.1 Account Registration: You can choose to register an account or use it anonymously. If you choose to register, you need to provide legal, real, and valid information, and you are responsible for the security of your account. 2.2 Account Security: Please keep your login information properly and avoid leaking it to others. For any account security issues caused by your negligence (such as password leaks), you need to bear the responsibility yourself. 2.3 Account Behavior: You must not abuse the account in any way, including but not limited to: Stealing others' accounts; Spreading spam, advertisements, malware; Destroying system security, illegally accessing databases. 2.4 Account Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your account, you can submit a cancellation request within the application under Settings > Account Management, or contact customer service through support@shortflix.video. 3. User Behavior Standards 3.1 When using this application, you must not engage in any activities that violate laws and regulations, infringe upon the rights of others, or disrupt the order of the application, including but not limited to: Publishing, spreading illegal, harmful, violent, obscene, insulting, defamatory content; Infringing upon others' privacy, portrait rights, intellectual property rights, or other legal rights and interests; Maliciously attacking, cracking, tampering, reverse engineering this application through technical means; Other behaviors that may harm the platform, users, or the public interest. 3.2 If you violate the above regulations, ShortFlix has the right to delete the content, restrict functions, ban accounts, and may report to the relevant departments according to law. 4. Service Content and Usage Rules 4.1 Video Resources: This application provides video content, but does not guarantee that all content is available, and some resources may be removed due to copyright, regional restrictions, etc. 4.2 Advertising and Promotion: When using this application, you may see advertisements or promotional content, and we will strive to optimize the user experience. 4.3 Paid Services (if applicable): This application may provide paid services such as membership subscriptions and single-payment content. No refunds are supported after purchase, unless required by law or service failure causes inability to use. Specific rules are detailed in the "Membership Agreement" (if applicable). 4.4 Device Compatibility: We will strive to optimize the application, but we cannot guarantee that all devices will operate normally. 5. Privacy Protection 5.1 We strictly adhere to the "Privacy Policy" and take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. 5.2 For detailed information collection, usage, and sharing rules, please refer to the "Privacy Policy". 6. Intellectual Property Rights 6.1 ShortFlix and its content (including but not limited to video resources, UI design, code, trademarks, brand names) are protected by intellectual property laws and may not be used without authorization. 6.2 You may watch video content for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not download, distribute, sell, or alter any content. 7. Disclaimer 7.1 Service Availability: We will strive to provide stable, safe, and efficient services, but we do not guarantee that they will not be interrupted or error-free, therefore: We are not responsible for losses caused by network issues, server failures, hacker attacks. This application may contain third-party services (such as advertising, payments), and we are not responsible for third-party liabilities. 7.2 Content Accuracy: The video resources and information of this application may contain errors or outdated content, for reference only. 7.3 Legal Compliance: When using this application, you should comply with the laws of the country/region where you are located. If you cause legal liability due to illegal use, ShortFlix is not responsible. 8. Dispute Resolution 8.1 This agreement applies to [Country/Region] law (to be filled based on the company's location). 8.2 If a dispute arises due to this agreement, both parties should resolve it through friendly consultation. If consultation fails, it will be submitted to the [Country/Region] arbitration institution for resolution. 8.3 If some terms are deemed invalid, it does not affect the effectiveness of other terms. 9. Agreement Update 9.1 This agreement may be updated due to changes in law or business adjustments. After the update, we will notify you through in-application announcements, push notifications, or emails. 9.2 If you continue to use this application, it is deemed as acceptance of the new agreement.
